About Tulix

More and more island experiences are not comparable to mainland prices due to the off-grid nature and cost associated with transporting everything to the island. Many islands cater to costly luxury stays charging thousands of dollars. We provide a great glamping experience, with a hint of luxury, for a more affordable price. Our hope is this becomes a place where you make lasting memories with family and friends.

The island sleeps up to 8 people in 3 large bell tents. Tents 1 & 2 are king bed accommodation sleeping two guests each. Tent 3 is set up with 4 twin beds. Each tent has a sitting area, dressers, or foot lockers etc. Mattresses are plush memory foam for a great nights rest. Room comforts are not the only thing we considered when designing Tulix Caye. The bathroom building houses 2 toilets and 2 outdoor showers. Our outdoor kitchen includes a stove, fridge/freeze, island and prep space. You will find our outdoor dinning area under the palapa and comfortably seats 8.

 

We offer a plethora of outdoor activity equipment and games, free of charge, to keep you as busy as you want it to be. We also offer excursions for a cost.

 

Hop aboard a stand-up paddle board and transverse the island or even make arrangements to pop over to the next island for a meal out.

We endeavor to be as eco-friendly as possible. As we wait for our solar system to be installed we utilize a solar generator to provide power for essential operations. The island is equipped with a biodigester and provides the island with all our gardening needs.

In order to keep our oceans health we will supply guests with ocean and reef safe shampoo/body wash, conditioner and sun screen. We ask that guest us only these products.
